Artfact Names Josh Hale Vice President of Product Management

BOSTON, February 8, 2012Artfact, the leading live auction software, tools and services provider, announced today it has named Josh Hale Vice President of Product Management. In the newly-created position, Hale is responsible for product strategy and planning across the company’s three Web sites: Artfact.com, AuctionZip.com and Invaluable.com. Hale reports to Senior Vice President of Product Management Steve Oriola.

Before joining Artfact, Hale was Vice President of Product Development and User Experience with BuyerZone.com in Waltham. In that position he led overall product strategy, design and requirements definition for BuyerZone’s multi-site lead generation platform, which supported over $30 million in annual revenue. Before BuyerZone.com, Josh was a Senior Director of Online Products and Web Strategy for Reed Business Information, where his team focused on improving Web strategies and product management processes across RBI’s largest online properties.

Oriola said Hale’s years of experience in the Internet world and impressive track record of bringing innovative products to market made him the ideal candidate for the new position. “Josh’s deep product management and development skills will help create the foundation for delivering a new wave of advanced products that help auctioneers and bidders unite in the fast-paced world of live auctions.”
