D.J. Charles joins Artfact as chief technology officer. Prior to Artfact, Charles served as vice president of development and chief technology officer at Perillon Software where he managed a team of engineers building on the company’s SaaS environmental product line for leading companies including Exxon Mobile, Barnes & Noble and Tiffany & Co. Before Perillon, Charles worked as both chief architect and acting general manager of Intuitive Manufacturing Systems based in Bedford, MA. Charles has more than 20 years of software and services industry experience.
Sean Quimby joins Artfact as vice president of operations. Prior to joining Artfact, Quimby served as global head of human resources at the world’s leading car sharing company, Zipcar. Quimby helped to grow Zipcar from 150 employees to more than 800 in four countries, 16 major domestic markets and 260 universities. Previously Sean spent many years in the service and hospitality industries including leading fitness organization Equinox and as managing partner of a multi-unit restaurant group. Quimby has 18 years of hands-on experience and brings Artfact a particular focus on customer experience, talent management and operational excellence in the face of exponential growth.
